This January, from the 21st-24th, Rapha returns to Adelaide for four days of community, camaraderie, and rolling with royalty. From exclusive events and race screenings to KOM hunting with King of Willunga Hill Richie Porte, join us for world-class racing and the very best of cycling culture at Australia’s biggest race.

Join us today to roll with royalty.

Richie Porte is the King of Willunga Hill, but he reigns supreme on hillsides across Adelaide. Or at least he did.

Join Richie on a mission to win back his KOMs on Corkscrew Hill and Mount Lofty on a 75km ride from the Rapha Royale, Adelaide, including refreshment spots and multiple chances to watch the pros do their thing on the day’s stage. Maybe you’ll end up usurping the crown...

In the evening, join Fran Millar as she talks through her first year at Rapha, the future of the club and what's up the road.

Friday 23 January

Today sees our Wine Ride spin out to the vineyards of Adelaide, testing the terroirs that make some of the finest vintages around. After a hot 55km, we’ll head to Sunny's Pizza to taste the results of all that hard work, with wine tasting and lunch included.

In the evening, to celebrate the day’s achievements and toast the King of Willunga himself, we invite you to a good old card game at our Casino Royale.

Free to enter, we'll be testing our luck with Rapha athletes, spinning the wheel with roulette and playing cards with the pros. There's no expectation to play, however and you can come down for a cocktail and a chat to soak up the atmosphere ahead of the Willunga Pilgrimage.

Saturday 24 January

To keep everyone safe and fresh, we’re swapping our Willunga Pilgrimage for a punchy morning loop, rolling out from the Rapha Royale at 8am.

Post-ride, we invite all RCC members to join us from 12pm for an exclusive Willunga Viewing Party.

Come mark the grand finale of the Rapha Royale with your fellow members, grab a plate of paella and a cold drink as we witness the week's final showdown together.

Then in the evening we'll be at Carpark Climbs in Adelaide CBD. We'll be creating a Dutch Corner at the top of the climb to cheer on the racers with free beers.

Rapha returns to Adelaide at our home at Nth Space, 31-33 North Street, for four days of club, community and camaraderie.

From January 21st-24th we invite you to a series of exclusive rides, events and race viewing, all hosted at our club pop-up in the heart of the action; your home from home. 

As a member, we’re taking care of everything you need to make the most of Adelaide. Our expert baristas will be serving up coffee and pastries. Drinks and wine will toast hard day’s riding, and we'll be supplying everything you need to keep the wheels turning over

FAQ

Our open rides are free, with on-course support on offer; however, RCC members will have preferential service at any on-ride aid stations. 

Our Wine Ride and Willunga Pigrimage are RCC-only events, and you'll need to be a member to ride with us and take advantage of the support provided. 

Anyone wishing to enter an RCC event must be an active RCC member at the time of application to be eligible, and if selected, must agree to maintain active RCC membership until the end of the event; otherwise, your place will be void.

Our Ride Leaders are here to support you by leading rides and navigating routes, you will be expected to be self sufficient on rides and please join the most appropriate bunch for your riding style.

Our Rapha team will have aid stations on some of the rides and mechanical support will be offered; however, please come prepared with adequate fuel and a well-maintained bicycle.

Due to the nature of the riding, we do ask all members to assess their health and fitness before partaking. It is mandatory to alert the organisers to any health issues in advance. We will tailor our first aid, team and medical provision to this information.

Cycling inherently has risks. This is true at our rides in Adelaide, where road accidents can happen between other members, vehicles or independently. If you are joining from outside of Australia, you are required to have Sports Travel Insurance, which will cover you for the activities you will be undertaking in the region. Regular National or Travel insurance is not sufficient. It is the responsibility of guests to acquire the correct insurance for the activity they wish to join. Please ensure you have this before the . You will be asked for proof of appropriate insurance in advance of the trip and will not be permitted to partake in the ride without this.
